What Up

Alright, i have been up and down this forum and all over the web trying to find aftermarket front shocks for the 3.2TL. I went to monroe.com and they listed a part number, but does anyone know if they will actually fit. Also, are there any companies that manufacture these shocks? I am a 3rd time Acura owner my first gem was a 1993 Vigor GS 5 spd, and currently own a 1992 Integra Rs with a ton a mods. But I think it's time to graduate to the 3.2 Tl. I am purchasing the 1997 3.2 with the premium package and this car is absolutely flawless, miles are kinda high but the previous owner had the car serviced at the dealership regularly and all the problems that have been touched on in these forums have already been repaired. It's never been smoked in and it's obviously been garage kept. The shocks on the car are in good condition NOW but i was looking at long term maintenance problems and pricing. This car in no way has an abundant amount of aftermarket parts like the Integras. I hope that it stands the test of time. Does anyone know what the D4 lamp looks like, my experience with acura switch and annunciator lights led me to radio shack, where in their drawer of light bulbs you can find 12vdc mini lamps that will wire into the lamp housing the buldb itself is only about 3mm high and 2mm across, They only cost about 2 bucks and last a pretty long time. So it is a cheap solution to the problem. I have always done my own repairs and mods on all my Acura's so I am looking forward to finding easy solutions to some of the problems listed in these forums. Once I get the car I will post some pics to represent the TL as well as my other 2 Acuras. The Vigor met it's demise in Alanta due to an ice storm but it's spirit lives on in the TL. Where is Q-town?

The D4 light you could buy at the dealer also, it is pretty cheap, I did a write up on how to replace it, and it should have a picture of the light in there also.

Got the TL today.........This bitch drives nice. I'm gonna take it easy with her though, I'll keep the fast and furious shit to the Integra. Never found out about the front shock issues. Anyone got some feedback? 1997 Acura 3.2 TL Premium. Pics to come!

 

no info on the shocks but shit... those pics remind me of MY 93 vigor i had back in 97... i loved that friggin car. it was so sleak and just awesome! i was only 17 with it too! haha! at the time in 97 that car was the shit and looked so new and crisp but just yesterday i was parked next to one with my 98 3.2 and man... the 3.2 looks like its older brother. more sleak and much more newer look any of yall get that feel?

 

actually now that i think about it man... we like brothers man. i went from a 93 vigor to a 92 integra to the tl.... are you copying me? lol! out of all the cars i had...
