Nice headunit! I am shopping around for a Pioneer myself and I am very impressed on how it looks. It also matches the colour if the interior of the TL. Does it match the interior light scheme aswell?

And how much was the unit?

Looks sharp! Ever thought of hardwiring the V1? It would look much cleaner and level it out. Right now, it looks like it is pointing too high.

Lojack isnt an alarm. If the car is stolen it can be traced and found. They guarantee it to be found within 24 hours or something. Cost is $500 for the unit. It might be stripped within 24 hours though.

BTW, trey what model number is that alarm?

Okay, my headunit was 200 bucks - it was my friend's , he used it for like 3 months and yeah i think it looks nice inside our car

My V1 is over to the left of the steering wheel now if you'll notice in the newer pictures, and i have been thinking about getting it wired but not really sure of its worth b/c where it is now the chord is not in anything's way. Also I thought that the higher it was mounted the better ?

and dom - I have the compustar spread spectrum which is the one that remote starts and pages from up to a mile and a half away. Spread Spectrum would be the model - They make one that doesn't go as far but that kind of defeats the purpose of the paging element. If you want my boy to hook you up on one of these lemme know- you know where to find me if you would ever answer me !!!

my friend has lojack. someone took his lexus (its a turbocharged sc300) while he was at a restaurant. he got done eating and bam, missing car. so he called his friend asap to go online and search for his car. he got off the phone and called the cops and the cops were able to locate his car b/c of lojack and 30-45 min later, they tracked that mofo down.

I can't find directions on the grill. I found directions for a mesh grill but yours has an emblem on it.. Or did you just do the mesh and add an emblem somehow?

to put the emblem on you do the same thing but you just cut the holes where the emblem goes in- its pretty easy to figure out when you take it apart

yeah I have looked at it and I like it a lot but a lot of members here don't i dont really wanna drop 900 on a painted front bumper so if you want to, go ahead i think itll depreciate the value of your car and I am doubting that it will fit very well too. plus IMO it looks ricey
anyways my engine mods are a K&N filter - I took out the stock airbox
and i am gettin denso iridium spark plugs and NGK wires
I see engine mods as somewhat pointless on our cars bc they aren't fast by anymeans and I can still beat little civics so I am happy

uh actually I spoke to the dealers and its only 1290.00 total.

Painting doesn't have to be so expensive, if you take your time, and shop around. But don't go to just any shop, you should know who your dealing with and be very specific.

Hope not too burst your guys bubble

I dont know the name brand of the alarm i saw but everyone here that is from LA knows that in downtown LA there is a jewelry district, garment district, flower district and so on, well there is an electronics district and I saw the same alarm without installation for 150.00 out the door. I am considering buying it but a bit later. They have a cheaper one as well for 125 but the remote looks different than the one on the pic.

by the way tre.. nice ride........

another stupid grill question. Is the grill mod reversable? Just making sure it's not necessary to break or remove anything from the factory grill that I can't just put back if I change my mind?..

Thanks again

SAM,

That's why I'm looking for a grille at a local bone yard. If it's broken I can get it cheap, cut out the fins and put in mesh. I'd really like a 2.5TL grille though (looks like the JDM grille).

im pretty sure its reversable - it seems like it would be you are only putting a layer of mesh between the chrome outer edge and the black part - if that made sense ? haha
and if you can get those alarms for 150 id buy a ****load b/c they are sellin these for 700 installed at the stores here in little rock.
