A new paint job--your experiences

Since I"ll want to keep my car as long as it'll last, I'm looking into painting the whole car very soon. I want to know the price you paid for redoing the paint on ur car.

I repainted my Accord, for $1400, was beautiful. The guy I went to is very recommended. It looked like a brandnew car. Then I almost painted my TL, but the guy said no let me just polish it, so I spent $1K doing that, and it looked like a new paint job, heres a pic of my Accord and my TL...

and my TL,

$1,000 to polish? I hope you mean $100

Area of the country would be nice to know too, what Mike got for $1400 might only get you a half assed Maaco job where you live.

It was probably like $600 to polish, and yes because it was done very professionally. The other $400 involved painting and installing my wing and painting my sideskirts. I live in WA state.
