New Member Here. '96 3.2TL Premium
Hey everyone. Just thought I'd say hey and introduce myself and my car. 1996 3.2TL with 136k, doing my best to restore it from the terrible condition I found it in. Here's a few photos of what she looks like now:
Look forward to meeting everyone and seeing everyone else's TL! These things are so hard to come by these days. Cheers!

Welcome
I'm a new member to the forum too, your '96 Premium looks very nice and I am jealous. I have a '97 Premium with lower miles and your car looks so much better than mine! You can see my silver car in the photos posted under my thread (the photos make it look a lot better than it is).
I'll drive my car a few months and then decide just what it will be-- a low mileage sleeper (beater) that I will do nothing more than critical repairs and routine oil changes or a car I'll invest some time and money to improve my car's rather lackluster appearance.
I have an appointment this Saturday with a body shop to fix a hole in the spare tire compartment (water had been leaking into the trunk for goodness knows how many years, and the compartment rusted through). While I am there I'll have them look over the car and see what they would recommend and then do the cost/benefit math.
My original intention was to use this 16 year old car as a winter car to take me to and from the commuter train station (a trip of about 3 miles each way)-- but after driving this car it became apparent that such use would not be doing the car justice- the car is a real jewel.

Welcome!
I owned a 1997 3.2 TL premium for over 8 years, a friend of mine now owns it and it's past 250,000 miles.

You can use Armor All or a black trim restorer on the skirts to make them look better. Welcome to all the new members, and hope you guys find this forum useful.

I always called them "fem" stripes...
Or this stuff called "Back to Black" by Armor All. Removes all the dry wax from any black trim. It's like lotion for skin.
My 08 Accord had painted pin stripes. The dealer removed them with a light paint thinner followed by buff/wax. The can be removed.
Cars like this are a work in progress I love watching stuff like this. If I can be an help let me know.

I removed mine (sticker pin stripes) and had sore fingers. Blow dryer and then some goo gone. Buff and polish.
Well worth it.
Let me see if I have before pics...

Nice to see people appreciating this amazing car. I had a 2008 mustang and a 1996 Acura 3.2 TL and I loved the TL more lol, that itself should say a lot. I recently sold both and got a 2012 Acura TL but sometimes I still miss my old baby.
