I'm working on re-doing my exhaust system (cat back). Any suggestions for mufflers? Is there a site where you can listen to recordings of mufflers? I don't want a fart can muffler.

I have the magnaflow DTM style muffler - it is very deep and sounds great. It doesn't sound ricey at all. I would recommend it - plus the dtm style looks better than the coffee can muffler.

I want an exhaust too but i dont want the loud sound since our cars are so quiet...might just end up getting the exhaust tip only.

i have a magna flow now and i have to agree that it is a nice tone, but i think its a little too loud for my taste, when i get my suspension im going to get a remus muffeler dual square tips ... i know that the remus isnt going to be loud but it will ahve a nice LOW tone

the 2nd gen guys talk about going to autozone or something and buy some tip called 3M?? do those look nice? do they fit our cars??

Yeah I was wondering if we can change the tips on our muffler. Do they come off?

i think what they do for tips is cut the existing ones off and weld on the new ones , i know that some screw on but ive never seen how they look

Im pretty sure you can change just the tip. Im gonna probably get it done this weekend.
