Needing some help????

So I have the check engine light on, checked it and it comes out to be the 02 sensor after the cat.... Don't our rides have a 150k warranty on the emissions system? I just want to have the clarification before I go to the STEALERSHIP and they tell me its not covered...... I just need some ammo to fire back at those assholes.... I have it out bad for the dealerships.

I just wish there was a dealership that I could walk in and tell them the problems, and the service writer say OK sir we'll take a look at it... Then come back and say you were right it was the O2 sensor and we'll take care of it.... But in real life the service writer who thinks he's a mechanic tells you that your car needs all kinds of work... When in fact I know I just changed the fucking oil, air filter, tranny flush, rotated the tires and all the other shit..... And then he tells me what these items do that keep the engine running right... I'm a fucking mehanic buddy, I don't need your opinions, so keep them to yourself, and fix my car for free because its under warranty... Man am I having a bad day.... The last thing I need is this guy who gets paid 8.00 an hour to tell me it's not covered..... Thanks fellas for letting me vent...

i have replaced both O2 sensors, if you get the universal, just be careful they may not work all the time. The after the Cat is significantly easier than the one before.

I have replaced both the front and the back on my 97 2.5TL.
They both requires to jack up the car even for the front one , you remove the battery, the base for battery and the firewall.
I used direct fit sensor for the back and universal one for the front.
I should have used OEM type for the front because, on the tip of the OEM type, there is a cup or something shaped of a cup sits on the O2 sensor to prevent dust and debris to get in. On a universal O2, this is missing. You also could not remove the old one and reuse it.

You guys aren't getting my question...... Does the acura warranty cover the O2 sensors up to 150k?

I'd rather have them replace it for free then have to buy one and install myself. There are no questions on the install, just on the warranty covering it..... I've read on here several times that it is I just need to confirm it......

Thanks

how many threads are we gonna go over this stuff..

dont buy the new air jordans and get a new o2 sensor.. I dont know of any extended warranty for a near decade old car that would cover a o2 sensor..

its under 100 jibbs. just dont let midas or some shit put it in and get cheetos fingers all over the sensor then cook it
