Need some pics of engine bay asap!

Hey fellas,

I'm looking for pictures of the engine bay of a 1996 3.2TL, specifically the top left corner of the engine bay where the ABS modulator is located. I need some pictures of the hydraulic lines running to the modulator through the white clip since I'm replacing my modulator and need to redo some bent hydraulic lines.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could post pics of their ABS modulator with wiring. It needs to be from a 1996 3.2TL - 97 and 98 used a different modulator. Thanks!

~Cheers~

Looking for a closeup of the ABS modulator/accumulator. If you were looking at the front of the car, it would be at the top left of the engine compartment right up against the firewall. There should be 6 hydraulic lines running to the modulator/accumulator.

Bump! I'd greatly appreciate any pics from a 96 3.2 TL owner! I've planned on replacing the pump tomorrow, so hopefully I can have access to good pics by then.

Ken, thanks for posting up the pics of my scratched up ABS hard lines, haha. Couldn't find my phone so having your camera worked out great. Maybe you should have the originals ready in case Vishnu needs a higher res version.

~Cheers~

P.S. Damn, forgot to move the strut bar out of the way.

Sorry to hijack the thread but this info might help somebody........I posted a thread at autogeek when I cleaned up the car with a PC. Here's a copy paste of my engine cleaning process:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I live in an appartment so I wash my car at the a self car wash. Here's my process:

- Rinse off random dirt from the engine. Stepped way back from the engine so I didn't blow off anything (Did not cover anything with a plastic bag etc..) .
- Spray Engine Degreaser at the car wash. Use a toothbrush to get rid random grease and dirt. A couple of dirty rags help to get the other not so dirty sections clean.
- Rinse off the degreaser with water again keeping a safe distance.
- Drove back home - that helped get the engine warm up and dry.
- Got my miracle product - 303 Aerospace Protectant. Sprayed a little all over the engine in sections and then used a microfiber to spread it and wipe off excess. I got Cobra's now for the exterior so old Walmart microfibers get relegated for the engine detailing.

I read a lot about 303 Aerospace Protectant. Then I got a chance to order a free sample of this thing. Came in small bottle but I loved what it did to rubber and specially plastic and vinyl. Treated surfaces come out looking new - no shine - just a matte and enriched look. It's a lil expensive but well worth it. Ordered a big bottle with my PC order.

Hope that helps.

^ I'm just glad that he left his camera at my place! If you need more photos, I'll have to get it from him again since I still can't find my phone. If you want more of a surrounding shot, I could take those. It's easier since I don't have anything getting in my way... .

~Cheers~

Yeah, it looks like you have the motor out of the car!

More shots would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for the help. I'm just trying to retrace the lines from the second white clip to the modulator. Any detailed shots would help. Thanks so much!
