I want a LITTLE bit of a sound and the kind that are like our stock ones( with 2 pipes coming out ) but i want the pipes bigger and for them to go out and slant up a little.. I hope you know what I am talking about hehe, but anyways if you guys have any pics of any new muffler on your car post a link ( don't post a image b/c i can't see those im not a member... gay) .

if your talking about the dtm style tips , i have them now and there ok but that style tip is really for european cars ... i have just a universal muffeler now and i cant stand it cause its too loud... im going to be changing it soon to a magna flow muffeler .. it is really quiet and all i really want it for is looks not performance ( for all i care it could take away from performance) but i have herd it on a V6 Galant ( this one was a 4' tip ) and it was quieter than mine ideling when he reved it up , it sound soo smooth too i like it alot

I bought one from PowerTech, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ndexURL=0&rd=1
Even though it looks very nice, I don't know if I'm gonna put it on cause I'm afraid of the loud noise from this flow through one. So yeah, we should know how it sounds and if it has a noise restricter for it before buying it incase we don't like the noise

962.5TL,
I know the issue and I've been there.
You could install a resonator from Midas, yes Midas.
They sell what they call a Glass Packs that's pretty small to fit right behind the Cat's before the Bend that goes to the muffler.
This will reduce most of the noise you're getting with a straight thru muffler.
Cost is about $88 including labor.

I've had the muffler HAN posted few posts above at one time.
It looked Great... I liked the nice Growl to it but that muffler made a pretty loud echo inside the car. It was louder in the car than outside the car.
I added a resonator and it removed most of the loud sound but Kept the nice slight engine growl.
Here's some pictures...

Hmmm, I wish you posted this earlier so I wouldn't buy the magnaflow and go ahead install the powertech.
I still have the lifetime warranty brand new powertech, I'll sell it for $110 if anyone interested.http://communities.msn.com/HondaAcur...msnw?Page=Last

The echo is still pretty annoying inside, so I install a glass pack with the size of the stock glass pack. The noise is lesser but I still want it quieter. I might change the stock glass pack with a bigger glass pack.

Hey Han,
You know the Glass Pack is pretty quiet... Since you have one before the muffler, how about an idea of installing a glass pack as the muffler and get some custom twin pipes welded on the glass pack.
So having two glass packs should provide the quiet sound along with a straight thru pipes.
I've been wondering about this type of setup would sound like.

I ran to Midas this morning and they think that with the straight through muffler, my sound would be a quietest one it could be because I already have a stock resonator and a glass pack. And there is no place for another glass pack beside your idea.

But with the look, I have to consider if I like the sporty look of the Powertech or the stock look my Magnaflow.
