Mpg

after averaging about 20mpg in city driving, It was good to know my 96 2.5TL still gets 30+MPG for highway driving!

damn, i thought ken with the type II was the only one around here getting 30 mpg. i took a highway trip awhile back, never stopped once, cruise on the entire time, and didn't even average 26 mpg. it's ridiculous.

I've stock wheels with BFGoodrich Traction T/As and the best I've managed to get so far is 27mpg - and that was only once. I usually average 25-26mpg on highway.

My ride is as stock as it comes! the only modification i have is my indash MP3 player. I have stock rims and I use Yokohama avid touring tires

I get 29 on the highway easy with my 97 2.5TL.

#1 - Proper tire pressure
#2 - Consistent throttle at 70Mph

i have too much weight in my car for fuel efficiency... a heavy ass box and carputer in the trunk... dynamatted trunk lid and interior... maybe i should say f' it and lose the weight cause gas is getting too much...
