Every morning, it started about a month ago, when I start up the car for the first time, I hear a loud screeching sound from the driver side.
It sounds like metal grinding against something. It only last for a second or two.
This only happens when I start up the car for the first time, what I mean is it the car is parked for over 5/6 hours.
It always starts up without any problem.
Is it the starter?

Any idea?

 

Could be a loose belt or a wet one. Check for leaks in the hood seals and your fender liner. I get that on occasion if I drive through a big ass puddle. No splash shield or front fender liners FTL.
