Loose Armrest

My armrest is loose, any way of tightening it with out removing the whole center console.
There are two compartments that open on the armrest, it is the bottom one that is loose. There are two screws holding it down, but it looks like they have to be tightened from the bottom.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I had the same problem, I just took it off (easy to do) and tightened them, found some loose change, and now you would never even know.

Removing it really isn't that hard or time consuming I didn't think, but if you want, I'll try and find out where all the screws are and let you know by this weekend.

2 phillips screws on side of armrest(put seat all the way back and u will c the screws on the side), open up bottom half of arm rest take out lil carpet will find a plastic square or such, take off, there will be another screw underneath. take off coin tray another phillips screw there. to completely take it off i had to unscrew my shift knob and take out the gear indicator (P,R,N D1 etc) also put parking brake to highest possible position to slide off. oh and almost forgot have to disconnect the three wires that go to the lights bulbs for the coin tray cig lighter and gear indicator.... quite easy id say takes no more than 5 minutes to take off. hope this is helpful

You remember it better then I do And it all sounds right. Putting it back on is actually a bit harder than taking it off I Think.

Thanks, guys.
Worked on it yesterday, I was able to tighten the nuts, after I seen that one came off, and now it is as good as new.

Thanks again.

i'd have to say that this center console is one of the easiest to take apart that i've seen lol. maybe i've taken too many apart (eek), but mine came off pretty easy, and went back on good and easy as well. hey, i found change too!

You could try a little loctite or something I think, or superglue
