Killer Chrome Kit?

Has anyone tried any of these spray paint chroming kits? Their demonstrations look amazing, but I don't know if i will get the results that they brag about. I was thinking of using it to help match my a little of my interior to the chrome shift plate.

I've never tried it, but it might be ok. I'm pretty sure it's not very durable but if you use it in places that wont be rubbed against often or something like that, it should be ok.

A little off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone knows where or how I could get my badging re-gold-plated. I know that a lot of people find gold badging cheezy, but I think it looks pretty nice on a Black TL. The only problem is that mine is worn off already and doesn't look as good as it should.

^ Don't buy new emblems! Just get a can of Rustoleum Gold spray paint, some adhesion promoter, and some clear coat. Take the emblems off your car, spray them with brake parts cleaner, rinse them off with water, spray the adhesion promoter, then the paint, then the clear. You'll be back in business in no time.

Hell, you probably don't even need the adhesion promoter and the clear coat. Just spray it with the gold paint and it should be good.

~Cheers~

u would not believe this (or u may lol) i went to home depot yesterday to get the spray paint. Tell me why i could not find the right shade of gold lol. I saw the same name brand you told me to get but it was metallic but u know how it doesn't say the color's name on the can, u have to go back the color thats on the top of the can (cover). Did i go to the right place for the spray paint? I went and got everything else though.
