Lightbulb Jynx or just plain ol' bad luck

Anyone ever notice why we first gen users wreck our cars when we get em all fixed up and stuff and people who leave thiers basic never tend to have body damage besides the regular under the hood problems? i'm starting to think this might just be a jynx or something...anyways just thought this should be documented

Don't take this the wrong way, but you guys that mod are generally looking to go faster. In general, you probably drive more aggressively and faster than the bone-stock guys do, with a correspondingly higher accident rate.

When was the last time you raced someone from a stoplight? Yesterday?

The no-modders are more likely to answer 'never have'.

...Just my geezer opinion.

^ But here in Cali, "stoplight derbies," as I've heard them called, happen non-stop. Only thing that'd stop them would be an idiot Prius driver (or Corolla, or Volvo) to make a right turn into the left lane on his/her own red light. BTW, most of the un-modded aren't even on this board, so there might actually be a similar accident rate.

~Cheers~

^ HAHAHA!! Great scenario and I've actually seen something like that! I was once T-boned by an old lady who floored her Oldsmobile into my 98 Accord. Spun me out and I hit a parked car, which happened to be my friend's wife's. She was about to get into it to pick up their kids. The old lady tried to leave, saying "I'm in a rush, can you not report this?" $8000+ later, I got the car back.

~Cheers~

too much red for my blood, deep red would look alot better in my opinion, sorta like a candy apple red look would look nice to me, but red cars obviously are more prone to wrecks than anyother

Red in China is good luck but.....RED is STOP, DANGER, WARNING, and BLOOD and it's not nice to write names in red ink...Death Curse or something. As an English Conversation Teacher on the side, I love writing students comments and their names in RED.....freaks them out.

Red in Japan is more like the color of "GOD" ( Sun God ).
