Just got a TL/ Rims

Whats going on everyone. I just got a 1998 Acura TL with 118,000 miles on it last week. It's a silver color, and i will get pics up soon. I just ordered some clear bumper lights today for 47 dollars, including shipping, it was the cheapest i could find since ebay had nothing, and i just couldnt wait. I will be putting in 2 12" power acoustic subs, i may just put one in since they destroyed my last car, a 1990 accord.

My next move is rims. I know i am going to have to buy new tires in the winter since the ones on there right now are worn out. i want some chrome 18's and i have looked around on some websites, but i have moslty heard that there are good deals in magazines like superstreet and all that. Anyways, i was wondering where you guys got your rims, and if you guys have any advice about them.

hey welcome to the forums.. congrats on ur new buy.. i am sure u will be satisfied.. our cars last forever... is urs the 3.2 or 2.5??? as for rims, many of the 18s rub on the 3.2.. just make sure the offset is high enough... otherwise u will have rubbing problems.. i have a hookup on a guy but he is here in NJ..

chrome is clean if the wheels are tasteful and not ghettofabulous.

IMO, a polished silver or gunmetal looks way cleaner depending on your car color.

save chrome for SUVs, trucks, and chrysler 300s.

I got my TL for 5500, and it has 118 miles on it. The driver side leather is a bit worn, but otherwise the car is in excellent condition. I know i got a good deal because from what i have read these cars run forever. I also had a honda before this car, a 1990 accord which run till 247,000, and then we gave it away.

Jersey Driver- do you have a pic of the rims?
