well i cut my class yesterday to work on the intake.. took 3 hrs to install but i made it as stock as i could with the vacuum lines.. however it runs great and sounds awesome when it is revved... ill let u guys look at the vacuum lines and see if you could tell where they run.. hehehe well i may make the intake cold-air in the summer when it gets warmer and i am willing to take the car more apart... lolz okay guys here goes...





and another thing i did while the intake was warming up... i chromed out the shift plate...


i will take more pics when it gets warmer out and it ain't farwing raining... later everyone....

what does the thick tube that goes into the intake do?

 

and have you noticed the whirring sound? is that normal?

 

yeah whirring is normall... as for chroming out the shift plate just soak it in paint stripper... i got some stuff called "Graffitti Remover" from home depot and sprayed it on... within 30 secs i just wiped it off... there are two vacuum tubes for the intake.. one for the coolant line and the other for the engine...
