Ok im installing my inspires, but the OEM tails have an extra small light, and on the inspires, there is no hole for the small 4th light. If you have inspires, did you leave that light haging, or cut out a hole and jerry rig it?? what is the light for?? I checked and I got brake, blinker lights?? is it the parking light??

 

It's a parking light. If you cut a hole for it you will have a hard time getting the little shavings out...so it's up to you.

 

I just used electrical tape and taped it to the housing so it wouldnt rattle when i was driving. Dont waste your time drilling the hole in the back, just secure the light down, having the light in there really doesnt make much of a difference.

I cant speak for everyone on the board but i also have the inspires and I just let that light hang I didnt drill a hole to mount it, its really not that noticable.

 

I bore holes for the side marker lights and the plastic went all ove the place.

Keep it hanging, it will not do anything, or else tape it to the shroud, use good tape though, it will be a bit hot.

 

I guess your inspires tails didn't come with JDM wiring harness. When I bought mine, they came with the JDM wiring harness, I just swapped that with the OEM. Thus, I don't have the extra bulb hanging around. To avoid it being too hot, unplug the bulb, since you don't need to use it.

 

mine came with the new wiring harness but now my left inspire the brake light will not show, i need to get that thing fixed... grrrrrr
