Inspire Emblem

This might be a but i have to ask...

Where can i get the emplem that says Inspire in that cool script/cursive type font???

I actually would hate to make my Acura downgrade and make it look like a Honda but i like the inspire emplem and will kind of want to mix/conjoin/mate both of them and make an Acura Inspire... I just have that idea... what do you guys think... cool or not??? then again it is my opinion lol... instead of having

"ACURA(A)2.5 TL" Across the trunk...
I want to make this...
ACURA
INSPIRE next to the key hole where Inspire emplem is...

I know... pics are worth a million words... but thats the best i can do right now...

Check this

I debadged mine but kept the A, cause I didnt want to put the H. Are u planning on keping the Acura where its at, then putting Inspire in the same place as me? Or putting "Acura Inspire" where the Inspire emblem is suppsed to be. If you do the latter then it may be too much clutter.

once you go jdm, go all out. replace the a with the h. once you do that, people will be confused. "whats a honda inspire?? is that a new model?" when cops write the description of your car they'll put down honda inspire and insurance companies will be like, "wtf is a honda inspire?" and you'll be free from the ticket =oD im jk seriously though, id debadge EVERYTHING and just have the H and INSPIRE. that'd sure to turn heads..well not turn heads but you know..

why don't anybody ever debadge their car to make a Honda Saber?? If i didn't have this inspire emblem, id buy a saber one just to be diff. i don't think any TL owner (of all gen's) have the saber letterings.

I know that you can go on ebay and tyoe in honda inspire and they have some really cool stuff sometime...but in my opinon a custom job is like a fine tailored suit...no two are alike and each has its own personal flair. I personally have (what i think) is a pretty kick ass idea for my emblems but im keeping it TOP SECRET for right now.

I had a somewhat experience just like that but with the gas station personel doing state inspections..... he pulled my car in the stall and had everything set up for an emissions test and just before doing the emissions test he took a look around to see what kind of car it was..... he came back to the computer to see input the car model but to his surprise... he couldn't find an ACURA INSPIRE.... he was like... "what car is this...? this car isn't in the computer...." LOL so i stepped in and told him it was a 2.5TL. he was like "2.5TL??" he says to me "that's not what the car says in the back....!!"

wonder what they're going to say next year when i debadge my A's to H!!

Actually, i wouldn't mind the Honda Saber sign... kind of would keep us 2.5 TL'ers set apart from the 3.2's... you know...

1. 2.5 TL's Have the Saber emblem...
2. 3.2 TL's Have the Inspire emblem...

Would be nice for everyone on this forum meet with their emblems all JDM'd out... just a thought... ... ... then again, that would be cool seeing a bunch of TL's driving down the streets like the bikers do...

Oh, thanks for the info on the emblem... but again... anyone find a Saber emblem??? Guess i'm going to have to make a friend in Japan...

not true about the leather seat and the 2.5 is a saber. 2nd gen's ONLY come in 3.2 and they have sabers in japan for that year. once again, i have not seen anybody in the US with saber letterings. my friend has a 3rd gen tl-s with a saber grill. its really nice

The clear tails and fronts are Inspire, the orange is Saber. Thats the only difference between the 2. Cloth/leather, 3.2/2.5 doesnt matter to the insignia. Both the 2.5 and 3.2 came in Inspire and Saber trim, the name didnt designate the size of engine. It would be cool to have a Saber emblem though, but why put Inspire tails, and clear fronts and make it an Inspire but call it a Saber??? Thats an identity conflict right there. If you kept the orange in the front and back I can understand calling it a Saber cause thats what it is. I wouldnt call my car something that its not. eg, i wouldnt put Inspire lettering on my car if I still had my Orange fronts and rears, id keep it 2.5TL or get Saber if it were available.

I mean its cool to change the emblems and stuff, just make sure whatever you put on the car is acutally what it is. Dont mix the names up is all im sayin. You know, like a Civic with an Integra emblem (a little extreme, but you know what i mean).

Question mainly directed to TLxRaCeR...

What "H" emblem would be the one to use for our first Gen's that replaces the "A" emblem???

If anyone knows please post as well, any/all feed back is valuable here...
Just thought since i have the front clear bumper marker lights and i'm going to soon get the clear tails then rather go all the way with the JDM Inspire look... except the side marker lights... i don't like those... but it wold look more authentic...

Also, i still have my front orangy bumper marker lights and i will have my stock tails so here is one more question for everyone...

Does or has anyone found a Honda Saber emblem that says "SABER"??? that would be cool too... like this i can change the look of my car when i please...

i believe 96 or 97 will do just fine. of course the holes within the trunk lid wont fit exactly with the pegs on the back of the H. You just have to clip off those pegs and just stick it onto the trunk.

if this is true, then I'm definitely doing a honda saber conversion. I was debating between the two, but can't find any saber emblem. My 2.5 has fabric interior.

No, it's not true
I've seen quite a few Sabers with leather interiors in my country

DIY on changing your 'A' emblem to a 'H' emblem

I got the laziness out of me and did a search on the forum for what Honda 'H' emblem that will fits our 1st Gen TLs... Nothing except 2nd and 3rd gens forums on how to change the 'A' emblem to a 'H' emblem. So.... Here's my DIY...

Step 1: Go to your nearest Salvage Yard.
Step 2: Find a 2000 Honda Civic with a rear 'H' Emblem
Step 3: Carefully pry it off... I used a flat tip screw driver. I didn't care about the salvage Honda Civic
As you can see from the photos that the pegs to the emblem are the same and of course fit the holes to the rear trunk.
The 'H' emblem sits flush against the trunk (perfect fit actually). Don't forget to get the 2 plastic "things" to go in the trunk holes for the emblem pegs. Just $3.49 for a salvage 'H' emblem...
Thank Me Later.

My car is full jdm inspire type s and the only emblem I left was the A on the rear wing.... there was an H but it was going to bother me since the steering wheel still would have said Acura on it lol

It doesn't bother you that it's left hand drive?

This has been covered before. The trunk "H" emblem must come from a 6th gen Civic sedan for a perfect fit. You would be lucky to find any emblem from salvage yards down here though.

Oh... I did a search and couldn't find the 6th gen civic forum... But I guess I did get lucky... I straight up jack that Civic 'H' emblem at the salvage yard today... Geez... Really? You can change your TL to a right side drivers side?

Oh, I've seen several RHD conversions. Various vehicles. That wasn't really my point. I know it can be done. It just seems like a lot of trouble to go to the end up with a vehicle that would be awkward to drive on roads designed for LHD vehicles. I could see if it was a show car........

My Inspire emblem is on it's way to me. Got it on eBay, hope it's chrome isn't gonna fall off like some imposter emblems I ended up with. Also waiting to get my car painted first.

As far as placement, I have only seen one photo of what I think was an actual Inspire with the emblem to the right of the license plate area. Just checking, is that where it goes?
