I like the white better, though I don't think either matches the interior very well.

Silver is "better" but I don't like either.

I'd much rather have the LCD look from the '03+ Accords

man you both have good answers...

i have the white gauges so, i'd have to go with those... they definatly don't match the interior making it look a bit ricey... but at night they look bad ass... the blue and the redline jumps out at you... or might just be my eyes... but it looks cool... the silver ones i havn't seen personally... so i can't make an educated judgement on which is better, but by the looks of the picture, the silver match the interior better but aren't as bright/luminecent as the white faced...

I think its just preferance...

About the digital gauges... man that would be bad ass if we could get some for the TL... but i think everything has to be changed right??? from the sensor to the wiring all the way up to the gauge pod... Since there are 3 peices to the gauge pod... the clear lense in the front... the bezzal... and the thing that holds the gauges (which are not even seperate gauges) the only thing we'd keep would be the clear lense and the bezzal because the stock gauges would be replaced by another 4 true gauges... i'm confusing myself and i'm just ing... i'll leave it at that...

If the lights on our gauges where brighter i think it would look nice at night.

i tried replacing the bulbs on my cluster to white LEDS but it wasn't the same... i have the white face because i got them for free off another member of the board... personally i like the silver better because i hate the big light up in the middle of the guage...

to answer the question....silver by a mile...more classy lookin in keeping with tl image and if you look closely the numerals (0,20,40...) are in the same "font" as regular TL.

BUT DAMN wolfpackbill ....those are some nice guages...same ones i saw in an 05rl with the soft blue....BEAUTIFUL. Anyway that kind of instrument cluster could be retorfitted to TL.

I agree... The lights on our gauges are rather dim. Plus, ours are lit via backlit bulbs or something right? And therefore give off uneven brightness?

I like the guages in my brother's 96 Accord. Though the Accord isn't supposed to be as nice as the 3.2TL, it sure does have a lot of nice perks then my 96 3.2 TL(adjustable timed delay wipers, LED gauges, front personal lights, foot pad that my foot can actually reach).

Anyway, I'd have to say that the white ones look better. What color is your TL? Because if it's Pearl or the other White, then it'll look pretty cool during the day too.

I see you can get those for pretty cheap on ebay. Only comes with the face plate and light/wiring.
How do you put one of those on? Is it pretty expensive to have someone do it for you?

Here's the answer to your question...

Edit: make sure you contact them before purchasing them... read the fine print... it says something about your needles being made of some material... etc... etc...

if the light-intensity of the silver is adjustable... another vote to it. the picture makes it seem a bit too bright.

otherwise white. but either way i think both looks good!

how come the needle doesnt light up though?

To answer another post above the quoted one... No the needles don't glow when you buy the reverse gauge kit... you have to use the stock one unfortunatly... as for the needles, i personaly get the blue ones... it'll match the white gauges blue glow...

I know how to put "the god damn things on without fcking up the needles" but it took me 1 fucked up needle to get the guages on... I messed up my fuel gague needle so i bought a hole new gauge for it... it cost about 80 bucks if i remember correctly... About the needles coming off so that you can put the gauges on... you'll just have to take that risk... i did... and it cost me a fuel gauge and 3 weeks w/o knowing how much fuel i had in the tank... and on top of that... my speedo doesn't work yet... i got everything else working though...

Sorry, i'm not near jersey... maybe, HQuakers i think is... or who is the other 1st gen going to the Jersey meet??? He probably could help you...
