Ignition Problem

I have a 98 Acura 3.2TL with right at 100,000 miles....Well If I let my car sit for a while i'll turn the key and all I get is a click, if i give it like a minute and try again it'll crank rite up, but i can try it like one to 30 times within that minute and it still won't crank but like after a minute after the intial turn it'll crank right up....if anyone has had this problem or know how to fix it plz right back...thanks

Derek

Sounds like you have a flat spot in your starter. Had the same problem, until one day i cranked the car and a loud scrapping noise came from the engine and the car was trying to crank itself. I took the key out and the car would not stop trying to crank, finally the starter started smoking and burnt my battery terminals. Had to replace starter and battery.
