Tell me about it. I've had mine off since November. Makes you look at the car differently. I want some chromies now too.

i never understood how chrome is flashy??? (please xplain) i think it all depends on the car... on a dark color car i think they should be chrome ... white silver looks but then again chrome loos real good (ie: streeteffectz's tl ),but on a blue i think silver looks the best

i use to want chrome but as i have gotten further away from the age of 21, i would prefer a little more subtleness to the look of my car, therefore, i would have to go with non-chrome...sorry

Well depending on the chrome rims that you get ..it can make your car look cheap. In fact acura stock alloy wheels are more expensive than most of the chrome rims sold out there ..if you compare the 2 price wise. I just see alot of wannabee luxury cruisers out there, who have crappy cars but are supped up with flashy chrome rims.

Exactly. Chrome is all well and good but only if you do it right. and all the good looking rims are usually like 3g's or more. out of reach for us normal people. i think that silver rims can look good if you get the right ones. if i get the rims that i want you'll see. check out my post about it.

Well the chromies I want are tasteful to me. I dont think they look like "little kid" wheels at all. I love the way the wheel goes all the way to the lip. Makes 18's look like 19s. Heres a pic.

I dont know. I can order them right now if I want. My B-day was yesterday and I got money from everyone. Plus I added some of my own so now I have about $1600 to spend. I was gonna upgrade the stereo ALOT but I'm not sure if I want that anymore. My Giovanna Corsicas have some damage so I cant put those on my car anymore. I hit a pothole with one and made it square, the polished lip is peeling off on another one, and I scraped another one on a manhole. Those wheels lasted long. I already have 18" tires so all I need is wheels. What do you guys think I should do? For the stereo I was gonna get another RF 1100A2 and a RF 800A4 and get the alternator rewound. My hood and front bumber can use a new coat of paint as well. They have a few pits that drive me crazy. Too many options....

It might be. One thing that I mentioned in another post about painting calipers was that my calipers started chipping when I started using Armor-All wheel cleaner. It smelled very strong but cleaned wheels excellent. My rim started peeling shortly after that. It might have been that Armor-All. Plus the fact that in the summer I clean my car like every other day so I used that wheel cleaner ALOT. I never heard of that happening to anyone other Giovanna wheel before. Actually, I heard that Giovanna chrome flakes off. I'm not sure though. Who else on this board has Giovanna wheels? If you're reading this have you ever had problems?

it could have been the Armor All...i remember around 1994, i heard that armor all had an oil based formula in its products and if you used it to shine up your dashboard or any other vinyl/plastic part of your car, it would break down the vinyl/plastic and cause it to crack. after i heard this, i just thought it was BS but after using the Armor All on my volvo dashboard, the sum***** actually cracked! after that, i never used armor all again for anything.

Bad news on those Millie Miglias. They only come in 18x8 with a 39 offset. Looks like I'm gonna have to get Alstadts.....
