A lot of you have asked how to make a mesh grille. I have done Mesh grilles for 8-9 Vigors, my own TL and a couple of Legends.

I used the template of how to do it on a Legend but once you do it once on any car, IT IS VERY EASY AFTERWARDS!!!

Below are 2 links that give you a step by step tutorial. Taking out the grill from the TL is a bit different than for the Legend but it is NOT more difficult. The first has NICE PHOTOS to accompany the text.

yeah, thanks nyctl. i've been trying to get instructions for awhile now. i think i'm going to try it out this weekend cause i don't have shit else to do. i'll let you know how it comes out and i'll take some pics of it.

I used gutter guard from home depot, it took me about 1hr to cut the design out. It looks a whole lot better!!!

hey its a long shot but this is a great post... if it works.

 

I did this a loong time ago - I don't know if I found the info here, or I just took it apart and did it - it was pretty easy. I spray-painted the grille with a glossy black, and it looked great. I also put some guard behind the chin vents (I have a 3.2)... Looks great.
