well, if you lower it to much and ride like that the inside of the tire will wear more and the cornering is ok. but the air-ride is very useful, cause if there is a high speed bump or steep entrence, you just hit a switch and back to stock! I'm trin to get this new wireless touch screen controller that tells you how high each cylinder is!

Hey hope you get my message. Think NU IMAGE would make a few essential parts or a kit for this? Maybe ask nicely so I can have it done next spring. Then Nopi Mini Truck nationals here in TN and showoff the goods... what about tranny issues?

I NEED TO SEE PICS OF THE MANIFOLD. Also anyone ever thought about a volvo exhaust manifold, they make the akward 5 cylinder, maybe there close and just might fit.

It wouldnt work because the volvo manifold holds the turbo in the middle of the manifold, at least the ones that ive seen. If you look at the pic of boost-n-tl's turbo you will see that the turbo goes where the battery goes, so you will have to relocate the battery. also if you look at the space on the left hand side of the engine where the exhaust manifold you will see that there is no space for anything.

Hotness man, hotness.

But alas, I have to be a stickler for details ....

Wires bro, wires. Gotta do somethin with those wires inside the car. You have your engine and exterior looking so right, you have to do the interior justice too. I won't go so far as to say that in the daytime the gauge cluster and dash don't match (they don't), but if you can drop 7k on engine mods, take the time out to try and clean up the wires. It's the little things that make the biggest difference.

And a turbo. Nice job though!

NICE RIDE!
Hey I own a second generation TL and a 1992 Acura vigor. I know the Acura vigor inspired the first generation TL and just notice now that the engines look alike. Question: Is that a (2.5 L) G25A1 engine?

Thanks for the reply.

That awkward five cylinder engine is a powerful and dependable engine. I love my vigor.

personally i think it looks like dog shit.. From the tin straps holding the playstation under the dash, to the misfitted/mismatched gauge pod drywall screwed to the a pillar, to the spraypainted muffler pipe ic pipes and BOOST DEPENDENT 1991 era regulator.

sorry, im just a fabricator/builder/engineer and i work hard to make things look nice. If someone rooked you 7500 on that calaber of work, its a crime.

I could see if you had like a 60mm hks gate, and a gt40 turbo, and a hks racing bov, and a -10 feed/-8 return full fuel system. But the work does not add up. Your components are all entry level parts that are comparable to an ebay kit you can buy for 500 dollars. All thats left over is fabrication cost at that point, and theres not 7000 worth of it. 7000 yen maybe, not 7000 dollars. I mean zip tieing a 89.00 msd pump to the brakelines and firewall and having some hose go to it?

I guess turbine only will cost you about 500, if it’s new. And plus about 800-1000 if we talking about custom manifold, made of stainless steel. We are not cover downpipe, intercooler, new MAP\MAF, additional sensors and oil tubes, wiring, lots of different bracing and work costs, of course. So, 7000 is not so fantastic.
