Help? Side Mirror Problem.

Hey everyone, I've a bit of a problem.

Came back from college to find that my TL had been sitting outside for awhile and now has a small wasp nest inside my driver's side mirror. As you've probably already figured, I really would like to get that out.

I looked around for instructions on how to remove the mirror to get this thing out and couldn't find anything. I think I hosed out the nest pretty well, so my real problem is just getting what's left out.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

He probably needs the glass out, not just the mirror off the car. I don't have the instructions for that, but try to take an air compressor to it and blow out the rest. If you can't get one, one of those air dusters for computers should do fine.

~Cheers~

Yeah, most mirrors I've ever had you can't take the glass portion itself out, only the whole assembly. I've broke a few trying...

the mirror is held on by tabs that wrap around the back of the mirror... its kinda like nipples... u need to tilt your mirror all the way to one direction then take two flat head screwdrivers and SECURELY pry off the mirror around each of the retaining nipples...
