does any one lnow how to take off the glass from the housing so I can tighten the screws the conect the motor to the housing

dude, it's a ***** to do. I broke my mirror a little wile back, and replaced the whole thing myself. It is going to require a thin phillips head screwdriver and a lotta patience. You are gonna need to get inbetween the mirror and the housing and uncrew 4 screws, two on top and two on bottom. That'll take the back housing off. Then you'll have to experiment with the rest. These directions are only from memory. Once you get in there you'll know what you're doing.
