Hi everyone, got the error code P0141 for my 1997 Acura 2.5TL when I took it into Autozone as my check engine light was on. Secondary H02S12 (Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 1 Sensor 2) circuit heater malfunction.

Which one is this, pre or post cat?

My dad is pretty good with cars, he said he can deal with a universal one and do the splicing into the harness and whatnot. So I plan on just getting a new one.

Probably gonna buy it off this website, which one would you suggest?

Sensor 2 is aft of catalytic converter.

Ebay is easiest site to buy from w/ buyer protection built-in and usually lowest prices, but check amazon.com, and rockauto.com. All are very good. I've used ebay for 5-6 years w/only one issue which was resolved.

You can verify sensor is bad by checking resistance (ohms) of heater circuit (two same color wires). Resistance of a bad sensor should be either infinite-open or zero-shorted.

I am deciding on which I should buy. One states that it is heated the other doesnt state anything but is Denso which is the OE.

Which should I get the Replacement one or the Denso one?

If it has 4-wires it's a heated sensor. Only 2-wire sensors are non-heated.
