New member with a 98 2.5 TL. I would like to replace the old headlight bulbs but the retainer clip is giving me a fit. Any tips???

 

how is it giving you a fit? is it not releasing?

 

yes it released but I cannot seem to get it back in.

 

Any help????? How do I install the clip???

 

well if you got it released, it just goes back in the same way. you put the new bulb in (make sure it's fit the right way) and then put the clip on the bulb and push down in it and it should slide under the retainer. maybe you just didn't push down on the clip.

 

Problem was the clip popped out. I will give it another try.... Thanks

 

i had troubles with it also, but you just have to fidget with it and careful maneuver your hands to get it back in. gl.
