Half painted taillights

After failure at attempting to bake the taillight at 200 degree for 8 minutes, I used clear red vinyl to cover the lower half of the yellow blinker to see how the tail lights look like. It turned out pretty solid and sporty. I'll use transparent spray paint to replace the vinyl so it could last longer.

is there any way to get to the inside of the assembly and paint? I'd rather not have the look of having on the outside.

96TL has a very detail instruction on how to open the taillights. But be careful cause it's very fragile, not solid like the head light.

I have to admire the patience and skill of you guys who're successful at openning the taillights, I just can't can't have that kind of patience.
