Oh I know, thats near the top of my list, it came outta the factory like that i guess, the previous owner must have chose that to begin with. Its ugly, but expensive to remove since thers 10 hole that would need to be filled, any cheap solution? I was qouted $500+ to fill the holes, thats w/o painting the trunk lid too

How cheap is cheap? This place is actually known to be expensive, but I think they were thinking Id want everything done the hard way aka the more expensive way.

$500!!?? You could probably BUY a USED trunklid without holes for that much!!! Otherwise it shouldn't cost any more that $250-300 TOPS to have the holes filled and the trunk painted.

Seriously, if its possible, all Id want, is some type of material to plug the holes (which ofcourse bonds to the metal) and use touch up paint to cover them up. If thats possible, Id do it next week.

Oh yea i know, even the engine bay is clean. This woman that owned it before took VERY good care of it, I still cant beleive it.

Best thing about this car, whenever im in a bad mood or had a rough week/day, once I get into this car and drive it around, It just changes everything. Its the only thing that I can rely on lately. Nothing makes me happier than driving around my baby, I give her the good stuff (92 premium) and she takes care of the rest from there on....

A brand new trunk lid from www.acuraautomotiveparts.org is 485.06. Dealers charge about $600. Those guys are trying to rip you off. I don't care how good there work is.

I dont even want to spend more than $150. They are very small holes, the screws arent big at all, for now im probably going to use body filler and use touch up paint, its winter so no one will notice. When spring comes, I can either get a new spoiler to cover everything up, or repaint the trunk lid.
