So I was walking back to my car from the Kmart parking lot. There were these two late 30s dudes that were hanging by my car. One was harassing this lady that was putting her groceries away. Well when I approached my car, one dude asked if that was my Acura and if I just bought it (kinda obvious cuz of no plates). He asked what year it was, and I said it was a 97. He was shocked at how nice the car is even if it was an old car. He thought it was new. He later said that I have to wash and polish my car to get it all pimp. As I put my pizza (little caesars) away in the trunk, he came closer. As I was opening my door, he showed me some gold chains and asked if I was interested, of course I said no. I already got a thick real one around my neck. So I got in and closed the door.

This got me thinking...I need some security features for my car. I need tint real bad. I can guarantee these guy were trying to make some quick break-ins. If it wasn't for the lady being there before I arrived....I don't know what would have happened. This parking lot is pretty empty too with no security.

just because you have the latest and greatest security system..it wouldn't have prevented those guys from doing something to YOU. Sounds like you were in a not so cool area of town. Be more careful, not just about the car (which is replaceable, as harsh as that may sound), but about U.

Haha, this happened in Beaverton. Portland is the ghetto area. Yeah, I wasn't even thinking about myself. Just didn't want them messin with my ride.

 

Wow.. I'll keep away from Beaverton, that place has never impressed me.
