i got the gab bar....performance wise...i guess it works.......if you owned a hatch (civic) for example the bar for our car is not comparable......but i did feel a difference. Our cars are big and long so the stiffness would be different.........if you have the money go for it.......its an added bonus to jthe value/looks of the car, and also not to forget a little on the performance side......hope i helped........

i got the GAB strut bar awhile ago and i was pretty skeptical at first about it's benefits. all i have to say is OMG. it make such a big difference, almost as much as lowering the car. my car corners a lot better now, definately a good investment.

the GAB strut bar is specifically made for our car. as for how i installed it, just take out the bolts for the suspension in the engine compartment. should be four bolts on either side. lossen them but don't take them out one at a time. just loosen them and when you have them all loosened, then take out the bolts. then you just put the strut bar on, making sure that it clears the engine block. you have to tweak it a lil bit (ie loosen or tighten the bar itself) for it to fit perfectly. then just screw the nuts back on. pretty easy. the only hard part that i had was getting the nuts off in the first place. they're on there pretty tight, but me and my friend finally got it off.

you just need to do more tweaking, at first mine didn't fit right, but you just gotta keep twisting the end pieces to find the right combo. you shouldn't need any washers, after awhile mine just fit perfectly.
