Front Lip

I was thinking about buying a front lip (97 accord) from ebay for 75 bucks.
There's 2 kinds type M & R.
Which 1 do you guys think looks best and is it hard to modify to fit.
Also thinking about leaving it black cause there's no matching paint color in a spray can for my car (silver/gold don't know the name). Not going to get it pro painted.

P.S. Finally got off my ass and brought the 3.2TL to the dealer for the OBD sensor check and free tune up this morning. Surprisingly waiting area was very nice. Flat panel tv to watch, free coffee, donuts, bagels. Even had 3 computer stations to surf. Made AcuraZine their homepage:wink: So after 3hrs waiting I left with FREE tune up, breakfast even took some cookies and a can of coke for the road without spending a penny. SWEET.

That's a good dealership! Here's a link for your paint:

I'm assuming you're the same colour as I am, so that's Graphite Silver Pearl, NH-509P.

The R copy is too plain, but the Mugen copy is kinda weird. It's too bad that you can't readily get the real Mugen one, since it actually does look nice. Between the two, I'm leaning towards Mugen, but I wouldn't really get either one...

i thought the accord lips only worked with 2.5 front bumpers which are flat on the bottom. 3.2 bumpers flare out and then back in which make placement of a lip look off. but props to you if you get it to work, post pic when you're done.

there was a green 2.5 that had an accord lip on it that i thought looked great for being a simple bolt on. a lip on a 2.5 bumper looks so much better than a plain 3.2 bumper.

^ Shit, I forgot that he had a 3.2. You're SOL, then. About the lip being better, that's true because you can see 3.2s normally like that. I think, though, anything helps since the 3.2 bumper flares out like a little lip.

~Cheers~

Bigwerm187: Yes a 97 accord frontlip fits with some modification.
Some 1 on the forum has it. Worth a try for 75 bucks on ebay.

Vas25tl: You can get a free tune up from acura if your car has 75000 to
150000 miles. They are suppose to check your OBD sensor to make
sure it is working properly and you get a free tune up with the
check (Oil & filter, spark plugs & wires)
