yeah i need to know how to remove my grill off my acura tl 97 , i have unscrewed the visible screws but on each side of the grill theres something holding it back from me taking it off , can someone please post complete constructions to remove grill because i wanna take it off for cleaning thanks . ( post pictures of instructions if u have any )

 

I got rid of the pictures a long time ago, but form what i remember htis is how it is.

bear with me cuz its been over a year since i got rid of my first gen.

1. there are 3 screws you need to unscrew. 2 on top, one in the middle. unscrew those
2. next to the 2 screws, there should be like holes / tab thingies. using a flathead, you gotta basically nudge the tabs and pry it out.
3. in the middle i THINK theres another tab thingy. do the same thing.
4. once you release the tabs, it just slides right off. remember ur gonna need a flathead to get the grill off.

 

i think there are only 2 tabs..no tab in the middle.

what you do is take a flat head screwdriver, be sure its long so you can reach it that far. Turn the flat part sideways, meaning the top and bottom of the flat part is facing west and east. Place it in the center of the tab and press down as you pull each side of the grill outwards and VIOLA!
