finally i finish! my subs are in!

well i last posted was a gay output converter make no sense on using it gives me a headache didnt understand how to put wires together so , i just bought a aftermarket unit for $50 from my homeboi..and custom a small sub box to fit the back..toke me about 5 days i didnt even have my dad tools so i borrow it from my dad friend..
well my subs are Ma auido competion subs, runs 1000watt 8' running kenwood amps subs costed me 80 bux a pair..

o yeah my headunit doesnt fit well dont know why..all i got was the unit ,no sleeve ,and no trim plate? do i really need those to make a perfect fit? and when i put the dash kit it was bending it would fit right? help me one this one, so i dont wanna go to the car stereo place yet.

Damm, I'm sorry but reading your post gave me a headache. The install looks pretty good though minus the color match.

mmm the dash kit was a bitch for me too. i tried 3 different ones and i dont think there's one out there that perfectly fits into our openings. i had to take a small dremel tool and shave the outside of the dash kit to make it fit perfectly. it still doesn't sit <i>perfect</i> but it's good enough. and i would definitely get a mounting sleeve, it'll help to keep the head unit secure.

THANXS, now i goin to try to make a custom dash radio for my car..any suggestion wat i should put on the empty space below it? lights? extra cirgertte light? small tv? tryin to figure wat to put..may b fan for my radio seem hot in there

Do what I did in our Escape: EXTRA 12V CIG HOLES. We put in an additional 3 cigarette lighter plugs along with a voltometer to make sure we didn't have too much drain. Then underneath we put two 110V AC plugs and in the rear another two ACs and one DC cig plug. The fronts could handle 400W stable, and the rear was 1000W. Unfortunately, we've since removed the 110V plugs and used them for something else.

sounds good..dont want too much lighters..thinkin of that cup holder in the rear arm rest.

yea i am. bought a bunch of kits 3 different company and still not a single fit missing peices in most of them..return for a full refund
