Finally dumped my HU for a JVC with USB

Finally dumped my HU for a JVC with USB!

Crutchfield JVC KDX-40. All kit, wiring included (soldering required). Straighforward install. Currently enjoying my iTouch on the TL!

Finally!

Will post 1 or 2...my HU CD player went kaput about a year ago. I installed a HU for my daughter's CRV which happens to be the same unit that can fit the TL. Worked out well.

The best thing is the complete instructions and wire harness that plugged into the TL. And all for $79, shipped! They had a special with this HU, kit, mastersheet, wire harness (worth $50) and shipping are free. Now can you beat that?

Taking off the wood trim was the beatch. I lost 1 clip. But nobody can tell. Gotta be careful you dnot want to be hunting down a trim in the salvage yard.

It's actually a very good price for everything, and I remembered when my HU got stolen they broke the trim into 4 pieces and got me hunting for years until I found a decent enough replacement from a part-out car. The radios usually get taken out in salvage yards and they just rip out the dash trim carelessly.
