Exhaust for the TL

Has anyone tried to install a Dual Exhaust for their TL? I was thinking of doing something like that but was wondering if anyone had some tips out there for me on what to and not to do. I was also speaking to Eastern Autosports in NY seeing that is where I am located and they told me they can get me a Remus exhaust and told me it should sound mellow, cause I dont want it to sound ricey like some of the Civics out there, he said it would have a deep mellow sound kinda like a 5-series BMW. So i was also thinking of going that route. And if I go that route should I get 2 Mufflers with Dual Outlets so that way it looks aggressive from the rear or will the car loose performace due to the reduction in backpressure. I guess I would need some advice from Eastern Autosports or anyone who has done this before.

Advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks folks!!!!

hmm.. dual exhaust in our cars.. i was actually thinking about that option, but decided against it cuz i didn't want to have to modify my bumper too.... (for the cutout of exhaust on the left side)
that would've cost a lot of extra $$

I was concerned with the cutting of my bumper as well. But most of these body shops nowadays does amazing work. Imagine how sweet our TL's would look with dual mufflers and Quad (4) Tailpipes comming out from the rear. I think it would look pretty sweet. Maybe one of you guys that is good with photoshop can photoshop them in to see what it could potentially look like.

Hey guys, I found these remus knockoffs on ebay. What do you think?

I'm looking for something that's not too loud or big...I don't want my TL to sound or look riced out. Any recommendations?

Well I definitely have to chang my exhaust and b-pipe asap. I went with my girl and a buddy of mine to Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall to catch American Pie II, and when parking I like to back into parking spots I slightly bumped my exhaust on the High Curb and didnt think anything of it. But when i came back I started up the car and it sounded like a RICEY Cicic or Integra. It was funny at first cause i was side by side with a Passat with a exhaust system and we were at a red light and he looks over at me and starts reving his motor cause he heard the rumbling from my car, so i sat there a laughed while inching up and waiting for the light to turn and he did the same and when the light turned green I took off and waived good bye to him through the sunroof cause I had him by 3 carlenghts. What a SUCKER.
