Cool Engine Bay and Grille Pix

Lemme know what you think. I didn't want to go crazy, so I didn't put the steel braiding in and went light on the blue hoses...

Looks pretty nice. Ive noticed those mugen accents. There isnt a good shot of the lights under the grilles, can you take another pic with a full frontal of the car at night with the light on?

Are those just silicon hoses you used for fuel lines at the top of the engine?

All of the blue hoses are silicone. HOWEVER, I didn't replace any lines. I simply put them over the existing lines...silicone breaks down over time when oil or any oil-based substance comes into contact with it. The neon isn't too bright, so thats really what it looks like. I have another 10" neon lying around. I might put the other one in today, not sure. If I do, I will take another pic, which should be brighter.

Which one? The upper is just black gutter guard I got at the hardware store for $2.50. There are instructions on here somewhere on how to do the upper. The lower is mesh I got online, cut, primed, painted, and custom fit into the lower opening. They are both DIY jobs that aren't hard to do at all.

AC_DADDY: Try refreshing the page or something, I can see them.

duffduffxx: I got the mesh on eBay, but you can get it at most stores online. What I did was make a cardboard template of the opening. Then cut the mesh to the template. Then, I cut the aluminum using wire cutters, among other tools. Then, I primed the aluminum using a metal Rust-Oleum primer. Then I painted it using all-weather Rust-Oleum paint. (BTW, both paints were in spray cans). Next I put the mesh over the opening and secured with dark wire.

Looks really nice...tastefully done! I've never seen the engine bay of a 1st Gen TL. I was surprised to see a distributor...I thought all higher end Acura models had individual coils. Oh well, still awesome!
