End of an era...

Well folks, we're selling the TL to a friend of ours. It will have a great new home, he's a car guy and loves Acuras. We've sold our RL as well. So we're down to a TSX wagon and my wife got a CR-Z with a 6 speed manual and it should be arriving tomorrow.

I'll always be around the 1st gen TL forum though, I know these cars well and will be here for any questions or advice.

I've owned the TL for almost 9 years now. During that time I've owned and sold a '03 TL, '05 TL, '02 RL, '91 Prelude and now have a TSX wagon.

I guess it shows how much I love and appreciate the 1st gen TL It has been a great car and will continue to be for our friend. And it's not disappearing completely, just going to a different owner who will also appreciate it. Someday I might end up being a passenger in it for the first time

Well it works out for him. He wanted a Legend with a Type II, his wife wants four doors and an automatic.

Driving the TL to my friend on Saturday.. it'll be tough but at least I'll continue to see the car

His wife loves it and really appreciates the attractive, luxurious AND reliable new set of wheels they'll be owning!

Wow it has literally been YEARS since I looked at this forum and the first thread that caught my eye was this one. Ken, it'll be sad to see the TL go ... Hopefully you'll stick around and continue to pass on your intimate knowledge of these cars to future owners.

My 96 3.2s still kicking

The CR-Z is a great car. I'm sure you let the new owner know about the site no? Was he/she interested in joining?

Oh I did, he'll be joining soon enough I'm sure. He'd fit right in with the Ramblings crew
