i was wondering if the first gen tl's had tether anchors preinstalled or are they hidden somewhere because mine doesnt have it installed and i cant find it.

I assume you are talking about the LATCH system that 2002+ model yr USA vehicles must have. I don't think our cars do, as it may have been a design option before 2002 on some cars though. Believe me, I looked on my 98 since I have a 2 yr. old and a newborn.

Sorry, no LATCH system on the 1st gen TL's. It wasn't an agreed upon standard at that point.
