can u rotate the Acura embelem, i want it upside down. i saw it on a tl today and it looked tiight. would i have to remove it and how would i reattach it?

I was just messing with you man, I said that cause you were spelling it wrong, it's spelled like this: EMBLEM. If you take it off, the clips will probably bust off on the back. New ones are like $15 with free shipping at magauto.com.

If you REALLY want to....I mean, if that' what you REALLY want to do to your classy car ; get some fishing line to cut through the double sided tape. Be sure to pull the fishing line toward the car and not the emblem. Cut from the top to the middle (where the two prongs are at that attach to the trunk) then go from the bottom up to the middle. Then carefully use a putty knife to pop the bitch off the trunk. When I bought my huge '03 TL emblem, I needed to cut-match some more double sided tape to make the emblem fit. 3 years later and it's still there. You’ll probably have to do the same.

 

it was just a thought, it'll look different, but w/e iam not actually going to do it.

 

^ It was big on the Integras for awhile, haha. The A in the acura is actually an H with the top really close together, .

This reminds me of an old buddy of mine who bought a brand new 1963 Pontiac off the dealer showroom floor. On the left side the fender script said 'Catalina' and on the right side it said 'Bonneville.' My body shop advised me to ditch the Acura emblem and stick on a Mercedes one instead. I passed.

 

the A upside down = V, hence the reason why i asked if you (OP) are viet. for some reason, some people flipped the H upside down too. weird.

 

omg.. you should flip your "2.5TL" and "ACURA" upside down as well. If your grill could be flipped, you should do that too.
