Question Dyno Coming Up

As the title says, a dyno day is approaching for me. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how much (or how little) WHP I'll put down on the dyno?

Here are the goods:

~'96 3.2
~SW Intake + SW Filter partially converted to cold-air (will be finished by then).
~Magnaflow Cat mated to 2.25" cat-back routed to Magnaflow muffler.
~22 VTEC stickers.

That last mod had the BIGGEST gains, "liek teh sihts, omg foo!!!111!!1!2"

Here are the bads:

~Timing belt pretty much close to death.
~Tranny heats up pretty quickly and if it overheats, will not engage first gear.
~No first gear means no power until about 3K RPM.
~Slightly messed up front wheel-bearings.

I know it's a ridiculously short good list, but I'm working on that. I found a parts car but before I could buy it, someone else did... So what do you guys think?

~Cheers~

Hrm... I'm hoping that the actual numbers would be higher as stock, aren't those the average numbers? 200HP & 210LB/FT - 15% parasitic losses = 170HP & 178LB/FT TQ...? Besides, I took an NA MKIV by a car+ and stock for stock it's got 25HP and 10TQ at the crank.

Maybe I should go to Kragen and buy ALL their stickers!!! It'll be tehpwnagehaxor13371337vivalamexico!!! We ALL know those APC stickers are good for 5HP each!! And man, those yellow radioactive Super Street emblems? Oh man, OOHHH MAN!! That's like, 20HP EACH!! HAHAHA!!!

~Cheers~

P.S. I'm only kidding. I'm in that mood right now, hehe.

The way I've seen it was 12% for MT and 15% for AT... Oh well, a few more days and I'll know for sure!

Ok, so the dyno day was a success! We had a good turnout, and had about 13 cars strapped down. Unfortunately one of those cars was a Mustang, but the rest were my m8s in Supras. Ken, god damn you and your accuracy!! HAHA, I put down 173whp and 169wtq. That was in 95 degree weather, sucking all the exhaust fumes from the Supras. My A/F was around 13.6:1 which is ok considering I'm not boosting. I want to see if maybe adjusting the A/F and actually finding time to change out the wheel bearings/timing belt will net me some extra torque. Bearings/belt being maintenance only... Don't want to push her too hard on the existing equipment until that's done. I have a few videos and pictures which I'll probably upload soon.

~Cheers~

P.S. The power curve looked good, being pretty much a plateau after 2800RPM... until the drop off at 6500RPM.

I almost got the Type II manifold but someone else got it literally 10 minutes before me... I'm awaiting a chance to install my UD pulleys, and maybe just port the damn manifold instead of waiting around for a Type II to show up. $180 for that Type II SHIPPED!! I was SO pissed when I noticed it was gone... One thing though, Ken, the guy didn't even turn on the air blower for me... Maybe if he had it on, I could've beat your prediction by 1HP, hehe.

~Cheers~

The guy seen in the vid is the shop owner, he only printed out one graph for one run. It was the last one, and where I lost some power to heat. Additionally, everyone grabbing the graph and passing it around, I've lost it. I'll see if I can't find it and try to up it.

We got a special deal for only $30 for 3 pulls. Since I was the only FWD there, I got one extra so they could see if it was set-up properly. You don't HAVE to dyno, it's only if you want to see where you are in terms of power/mods and to tune your car to run optimally with those mods. Tuning is charged separately, though, and it's billed by the hour.
