Dual Exhaust

For a while now i've been thinking of a dual exhaust, not because of the power it will give the car, and not for the sound(sort of for the mean sound), but for the mean look it will have from the rear... Anyways, has anyone installed a dual exhaust on their First Generation TL??? If so, what are the pros and the cons???

I went to Midas to get my break pads done... FREE... lol... life time thing... and i asked when i saw the mufflers on display... i don't remember what it would cost, but i remember the guy telling me that they would have to cut the tow thingy off the back... so i was kind of wondering if anyone has done it where they don't have to do that... Hey if i get stuck in the middle of nowhere and the only kind of tow truck the guy 20 miles down the road has is the one that uses that tow thingy and the nearest tow truck that doesn't is 200 miles away... shoot, i don't even want to think of that situation... any help, ideas, thoughts, comments, arguments, anotations, or observations on this topic would be appreciated... wow the words above have more than 5 letters...lol...

i haven't not done the dual exhaust yet, but will be doing it soon.. the tow hook can be unbolted. the reason why i have not done the dual exhaust yet is because of the rear bumper. the factory bumper has that one exhaust opening near the mid-right of the car. if the dual exhaust was to to be done just as a mirror image of the stock location of the muffler, they look way out of place. once i have finished my bodykit, i will be relocating the mufflers. as of right now, i think i might be able to weld on new brackets and still be able to keep the tow hooks. heres a pix:

and these are the mufflers i already purchased to put on... 5Zigen Fireball T/C

Before you guys blow some money, check out the fuel tank It'll block anything on the left side. Unless you get something custom done I dont see how.

i've already considered the fuel tank.. since the bodykit will lower the position of the muffler, the fuel tank is no longer in the way...

Gotcha... in that case it'll work if mounted below it.

It would look good. My little brother saw my car recently (he's been away at school) and suggested a "quad" exhaust. Basically two mufflers with twin tips.

To me, that would be overkill. I like my folks' 2003 TL with its twin mufflers. Its a good clean look.
