Unbolt the door panel, unclip the security light and the window switches. Remember to pull the switch/change pocket panel out and the door handle surround out before trying to take off the door panel. While taking off the panel, unplug the door light. It's easier to take out the light bulb first so it doesn't get hot. While using a flat head or pry-bar to separate the inner panel from the door frame, any loud cracks you might hear are just part of the leather leaving the metal after 10 years. They're ok, just remember to pry evenly, and not all in one place at a time. To fit aftermarket 6.5" speakers, you'll have to cut the adapter plate. If you do a search, you'll find a thread where we discussed different approaches to installing the speakers, and I believe I posted on how I did it. Good luck.

~Cheers~
