Unhappy do I need new shock absorber or spring?

Hello everybody , I have a problem , I feel that my car is like crooked on the rear left side . I feel it when I'm driving and when the car is in the parking looks like that too .
I already took the car to the dealer and they say that is nothing wrong with the car
they say that they measure the springs and everything seems fine
on the other side I'm not heavy , I weight 180 soI don't think is me
so I was thinking maybe I need to change the left rear shock absorber and spring that it costs together around 275.00 or does anyone knows about this.
I'm pretty sure that the car doesn't look straight from the rear
and is a 97 3.2 tl prem thank you
I'd apreciate your help

so if the springs are okay...maybe its the shocks...or maybe you just need more air in your tires? are all of your wheels on your car the same size? bring it to another place and ask them to check it out...its probably something relating to your suspension if its not your tires or wheels

oh, you did the right thing to bring it to the dealer.....no doubt! but if they can't help you, who can?! lol but id bring it to another place....such as suspension specialists. they might know.. or if you want, you can bring it to another acura dealership.

I dunno but all the Hondas I have had have that problem. The rear left side seems lower than the right side. I changed out the springs and shocks and still get the same problem. This happend on my 89 Accord 96 Accord and now my gfs 00 Civic. I also changed to aftermarket lowering springs and shocks same thing. Ive also seen this problem on other Hondas on the street as well. I could never figure out why it did that. After taking apart the rear left side to check things I see nothign wrong.

Have you had a recent alignment?

I would have said the first thing is check air pressure then gap from the ground to car, ground to each fender and check the level of ground.

I dont know how the dealer measured the springs unless they pulled them off but the shocks should not cause height issues unless the shocks are sticking but you'll have other issues if that's the case.

on German car a 175 lbs sand bag is called for in the drivers seat during alignment or it wont square.

After going through measuring the car and if it's still not level... take it to a suspension guys like TLballer mentioned.

All springs sit on a rubber mount that could wear over time and that could also be an issue however the springs needs to be removed to check these. also if you get Aftermarket springs to lower the car and you use the same worn out rubber roots, you could end up with the same problem.

I have not heard that these boots wear that easily though, it's a lifetime part.
