extended warranty on emissions control
do you guys know that our tl's have a( I think is call a recall )
so acura extended the emission control warranty to 14 years
maybe you all know about this
but for the ones that don't
1996 to 1998 acura tl
if the car doesn't pass the emission inspection acura will take care of it
at 90,000 miles they will change spark plugs ,wires ,distr cap and rotor plus they'll change the oil for free and then again at 150,000 miles
now I don't know if they'll change those parts in the 3.2 because is different than the 2.5 but I have a 3.2 and that's what they told me byeee
I haven' try to see if it's true cause I only have 49,000 miles on it

Hmm,
New Cats will get the car clean emission results however it's close to 2K.
I know at least here in CA, emissions are warranted on all cars sold in the us for 8 years, 80,000 miles.
Where did you read that the TL's emissions are covered up to 150,000 miles? You have that in a url or some document that's in writting?

yes actually I didn't know until 4 months ago when acura headquarters in california sent me a later where it says that
instructions when to do the service and what it's covered
I think is preety cool
last month the abs sensor went out and the transmision sensor too
at first he told me that they were gonna pay the expensive one wich is the transmision and I would have to pay for the abs one
and that was almost 300 hundred dollars
but when I went to pick up the car he didn't charge me for anything he said that the car does not has too many miles to have those sensors down so tehy paid for it
I don't know if this has something to do with the warranty I been telling you
