DIY remote starter
I'm having all kinds of problems installing my remote starter in a 97 TL 3.2. I've installed the same system in a honda accord with no problems.
I'm simply not finding the wires where they are supposed to be. Mainly, I can't find the tach wire which is supposed to be a blue wire in a white 2-pin connector on the passenger rear side of the engine. I don't see any freaking white molex plugs under the hood anywhere.
Also, some websites say that the door lock is grn/wht near the driver kick panel. Others say it's gray in that same area.
Has anyone done this before on this car? What is what?

the tach wire is On the 2.5 find the blue at the coil next to the battery. On the 3.2 find the blue at the white 2 pin tach test plug at the passenger rear side of the motor to the left side of the ABS modulator unit, next to an orange 2 pin plug
as for lock it says gray for lock and green with yellow stripe for unlock and they can be found in the passanger door harness...
these are straight from directed electronics website ... hope this helps

"white 2 pin tach test plug" my ass. I found the fvcker hiding in one of four 12 pin plugs in that area. It's the only blue wire in that area, but not the only one under the hood. Am I pissed, heck yeah.
