debadging

i decided to debadge my tl over the weekend it went ok up until the point that i couldnt get the imprint of 3.2TL off..its starting to piss me off any ideas on how to get rid of it?

goo gone it removes adhesives not sure what it will do to the paint though

i was using goo goneall the adhesive is gone its just theres an outline of the words 3.2Tl that wont go away..it's slowly going away..its can only be seen when standing directly infront of it

i did had the same problem, i used goo gone got rid of all adhesive and glue, safe to use on ur paint, however under certrain lighting you can see a very faint imprit of each letter, kinda sucks, but no biggie

You should really paint it. I debadged my Accord and I had the whole care repainted, so it looks real nice. But ya if not rubbing alcohol can do wonders.

yeah it has always worked great for me. Even when I took the pinstripe off of my Accord it worked good.

alcohol burns your paint finish...dont use too much. it wont be as glossy as it use to be. i wonder if budweiser works? =oD

i used heat gun w/ rubbing compound then finished it off w/ a clay bar and wax it and buffed it shiny...

try bug and tar remover. then polish and wax that area afterwards
