Does Anyone know what color wire from the factory radio harness goes to the dash speakers and the dome light speakers.

reason is that i replaced my head unit (double din pioneer fhp-8000), I bought a harness that was for (honda acura 1992 - up)

after connecting the harness i realised that I only connected 4 speakers. with no wires left, so I really need to what color those wires are, so i can splice them in. (No money to buy anything else EVER!!)..

 

dont know what color wires ust take out the headunit and test it with those wires

 

Are you sure the dash speakers arent working? I had the same setup and the dash speakers worked. The only ones that didnt work were the tweeters by the dome light. Those tweets have a seperate blue plug with 4 wires.

 

How did you get the dome tweets to work.

so that second 4 wire harness that plugs into the factory unit are for the dome tweets?.

 

did you just splice them in with the dash speakers

 

Yes I'm 99% sure thats what that second plug does. I never even bothered to hook them up because I only had that setup for about 2 weeks then I changed everything. I'm sure you can just splice them in with the front speakers. You would just have to figure out which is ground and power.
