Couple of questions
Couple of questions
Hi guys, I've tried searching around but was unable to find the answers to my questions, so I'm going to ask them here.
I just got a 1997 TL and I either this model does not have a glove box light, or mine is burned out. I tried looking around with a flashlight to see where the bulb goes, but could not locate it, could someone take a picture or draw me a simple diagram as to where I should look to find it?
Also, just a random question, but if I were to need to change the bulbs out of the front bumper blinkers, how would I change them? Is it as simple as somehow taking off the plastic lens cover or must I remove the bumper and so on?

Welcome to the boards!
The glove box bulb is on the right of the glove box. It is on the front and shines down on the inside. I believe that it is a DE3175 bulb.
Yes it is as simple as removing the turn signal and corner lights to change the bulbs. You just need a long-ish sized phillips head screwdriver. They also have 194 in the corner and the turn signal is a 7440 bulb.

DO NOT put an over-wattage bulb in the glove box. I had one there a long time ago, and had something heavy that caused the box to sage just enough to turn on the light. My bulb holder melted, haha.

Thanks for the responses!
As for the bumper lights, by saying I would need a long screwdriver, I'm assuming the screws will have to reached behind the bumper? How do I get to them? From the hood or under car?

Sit in front of your bumper right in the middle by licence plate and then look on the inside edge of the flasher with a flash light. You will see a philips head screw in there. You need to take that off and then wiggle the flasher a little to take it out...
^I really hope that makes any sense to you. It doesn't make any to me....
