corner light problem

aight so this is tha thing i've had my clear corner/bumper lights for a few weeks now (maybe 2-2 1/2) and the other day i noticed my left corner light hangin' so im like WTF, so i took off tha whole assembly and looked for tha problem and there it is the place where u screw in tha screw it chipped off EXAMPLE: instead of a full circle its like a half moon if u get it) so its no way tha screw or light stays in..it doesnt hang like a eyeball out of tha socket all tacky ir nuthin like that so im tha only 1 who knows...but ti juz urks me and i hate to get out of tha car and push it in everytime...it only stays in because tha turn signal holds it i guess....so in conclusion does anyone have any bright ideas on how to fix this or has it happen to anyone else? cuz im typin with one hand with tha crazy glue in tha other..... ( only thing if u se crazy glue how will i get it back out again to change tha bulbs if neccassary?) dammit pls help

if the missing piece is still attached to the screw, epoxy those suckers together real tight and sand it down a little till it fits (may have to re-drill the hole)... it will be stronger than original...

if it isn't, well, don't do anything TOO permanent.... actually, if you find a piece of plastic similar to the missing piece, you can use that- it'll take a little glue and sanding, but should be just fine....

my
update when ur done, homie....

Hmm.

The tab on the bumper for my corner light is also a half moon sort of shape (took it off to fix the wiring yesterday). On the screw I have though, there is a U shaped piece of metal that wraps around the mounting tab on the car.

I should make a picture of it or something.
