the 99TL's really didn't have as many probs because they were still on a 4spd AT... seemed like more issues arose when the 5-spd AT came in 2000-2003... but i would stay away from second gens... i just love the fact that our gens were made in japan...

I agree wholeheartedly with Fillup05 and Kam. This is the most trouble free ride I have ever had. I wouln't trade my girl for anything. even when I buy my next car, she will remain in the fleet until I just can't get it resurrected. You Acura service tech will vouce for this car too, since it was built in Japan. I have had about 6 service advisors gush about my car when I took it in for service, talking about how that was and still is the best built TL. I would keep the TL especially with you having put work in to her. She will run, trust me, I am knocking on the door of 200,000 major trouble free miles. I have replaced part that have worn out. I have not had any serious problems with this car. It is ultimately your choice, and I hope that you are happy with your decision whatever it may be.

you echo my sentiments. I'll do everything in my power to keep it forever. I love it way too much!

As for the OP: RUN RUN RUN from the Tahoe.
